Claim your profileI am a multimedia reporter with a passion for local news. I am currently a breaking news reporter for Newsday, covering all of Long Island. As an editor for Patch, I covered several towns on Long Island's South Shore, aiming to close the gap between national and local news. I was on the original production team for PEOPLE Magazine's first daily podcast, "PEOPLE Every Day", and saw its launch in February 2021. I am also a recipient of the Marlene Sanders Journalism Award for my podcast, "In Our Backyard" about how rezoning laws affect the communities of Sunset Park and Crown Heights.
