I have a bachelor's and a master's in journalism. After graduate school, I began my career as a runner for the New York Daily News, where I quickly progressed to covering breaking news and crime across the five boroughs. During that time, I also freelanced at Thebody.com and the US Sun. Currently, I am a digital reporter for PIX11 News, where I'm part of a small but dedicated team that covers New York City, Long Island, and parts of New Jersey.As a digital reporter, I write three to five stories daily, generate headlines for digital packages, and write social media copy for a news website with over 40 million page views annually. I am very vocal and proactive about covering breaking news in the newsroom. As a journalist dedicated to understanding our readers, I am passionate about audience engagement.
