Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, she is excited to currently be in the Lone Star State. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Studies from Xavier University. Prior to joining the team at KFDX/KJTL Markeshia had the chance to intern at FOX 19 Now, one of her hometown news stations. Adding to her experience she’s also had the chance to intern for CBS News for three consecutive semesters. Her passion for storytelling continues to grow each day. Through her storytelling she strives to bring the extraordinary out of ordinary people.
