I'm still as excited about reporting community news and celebrating local heroes as I was when I started this profession nearly four decades ago. As an outdoor reporter I hope to excite folks about our natural world, inspiring them to fall in love with the natural world and hopefully creating an army of passionate defenders when our resources are threatened.
