The Adventurine is a jewelry dream come true for Marion. After spending over two decades writing for esteemed magazines, writing several books and creating content for premier brands, she launched The Adventurine online fine jewelry magazine in 2016 as a platform to expand on her life’s work and passion of telling jewelry and watch adventure stories in a variety of styles.In 2018, Marion received the GEM Award for Media Excellence and Town & Country magazine's Jewelry Champion Award for her work on The Adventurine. Over the years, Marion has acted as a consultant on projects to numerous leading jewelers including Tiffany, Van Cleef & Arpels and Verdura. In 2012, Marion collaborated with Cartier on the exhibition Cartier & Aldo Cipullo New York City in the 70s presented at the French firm’s landmark mansion on Fifth Avenue. Marion was commissioned by Bulgari to write the Collection trilogy Serpenti, Bulgari-Bulgari and Monete published by Assouline from 2013-2014. She also curated Bulgari: Serpenti Collection at the Italian jeweler’s New York City flagship. Throughout her career Marion has written eight books including Bejeweled, With This Ring and Hollywood Jewels. She was the Contributing Editor of Fine Jewelry and Watches at InStyle from 1996 until 2015. Marion’s award winning coverage showcased her knowledge of the market and passion for all things jewelry in feature stories, interviews with jewelry-loving celebrities and #RocksMyWorld column on InStyle.com.
