Reporting in Virginia has been both challenging and extremely rewarding. Check samples of my work: https://youtu.be/rI46J_NHBiABefore moving to Norfolk, I spent six years covering news in Orlando. I worked as a multi-media journalist for Central Florida News 13, covering the George Zimmerman trial, the case against Casey Anthony and the end of the shuttle program at the Kennedy Space Center. I was also an anchor for KNDU-TV in Kennewick, Washington. I worked as an evening anchor and reporter for three years. Before moving to Washington, I spent two years as the news director and reporter for WBCB, an AM radio station in a Philadelphia suburb. At college, I spent a semester at the University College Cork and traveled extensively throughout Europe. During my senior year, I interned for NBC News in New York City. There the excitement of breaking news hooked me on a career in broadcast journalism. I grew up in Cherry Hill, N.J. and graduated from Rutgers University with a B.A. in Journalism and a minor in Communication. Writing for the school paper gave me my first taste of journalism. My favorite part of reporting is meeting so many different and interesting people.
