Claim your profileI'm a senior political reporter for Newsroom, based in Wellington. I cover climate change, health, energy, technology and violent extremism. I graduated from Amherst College with a Bachelor's Degree with Honors in History and spent a semester studying abroad at Victoria University of Wellington. I have interned at the Detroit Free Press, the Chicago Reader and In These Times, and was formerly the Editor-in-Chief of the online student publication AC Voice. Until August 2019, I was a blogger and social media manager for the Holocaust Centre of New Zealand, where I managed the Twitter account and wrote posts on Holocaust history and the relevance of the Shoah today. As a freelancer I have written reported pieces and commentary for the Financial Times, the Jewish Daily Forward, The Spinoff, and a number of other publications.
