I have a master's degree in multimedia journalism and public affairs from American University and a bachelor's in International Studies.I've published book and film reviews and literary and commercial translations from French to English in The Oregonian, Words Without Borders and Wasafiri.Outside of work, I enjoy cycling along the Potomac, international bike and motorcycle touring, learning to repair old engines, drawing, and (mostly unsuccesfully) growing okra and tomatoes.
