Claim your profileWho I am: I am passionate about Jesus, people, family, storytelling, and sports. Those key aspects of my life drive me to be a better person and a better professional each day. What I do: I am currently a Sports Anchor & Reporter at WPSD-TV in Paducah, Kentucky. Where I’ve been: Since joining the WPSD sports team, I’ve covered many events from state tournaments to Ja Morant’s Hall of Fame induction at Murray State University. While at KAIT, I’ve been fortunate to be able to cover a variety of sporting events. I’ve covered the NBA Playoffs (Grizzlies vs. Lakers in 2023), a College Football Bowl Game (AutoZone Liberty Bowl), the Sun Belt Conference Basketball Tournament, and even sports like disc golf (the PDGA Jonesboro Open) and bowling (PBA Jonesboro Open). Being versatile is a quality I’ve learned throughout my career. In the summer of 2019 during my college years, I volunteered at the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Performance Center. There, I gained experience as a color commentator, host, backstage interviewer, and a panelist under the guidance of professionals from the Raw, Smackdown, and NXT brands. I learned the importance of passion and energy in your work through my time there. That summer, I also served as the communications intern in the Florida Collegiate Baseball Summer League in Orlando, where I was a play-by-play and color commentator, social media manager, and writer (game recaps/feature stories) for the team’s website Other responsibilities included: running the team’s social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram), as well as writing game recaps and feature stories.
