Claim your profileI'm a journalist with the BBC's technology news team - contributing to the BBC's coverage of top stories in the tech landscape from our base in Glasgow. I've helped produce engaging TV packages and news bulletins for our flagship technology TV programme, Click, untangled technical topics like quantum computing in articles for the BBC website, and explained how big tech stories impact you across BBC radio programmes and podcasts. I love reading and learning as much as I can about different areas and disciplines within the industry, and enjoy writing about these in a clear, engaging way for our audience and outputs. But I'm particularly interested in stories about social media platform changes and developments, impacts of the generative AI boom and how companies use our data. Before joining the BBC I was a Search & Trends Writer at The Scotsman - where I wrote news stories, explainers, picture articles and data viz-led election coverage that routinely topped Google Search results. I also wrote columns featuring my tech news hot takes, and features for Scotland on Sunday.
