I became a journalist because I love writing - then I found out it's not about the writing. It's about being resourceful, getting people to tell you their stories, and racing against time to put out the best work you can. As a political correspondent at Singapore's largest newspaper, The Straits Times, I've attended high-level international forums like the G20 Summit but continue to keep my ears close to the ground. A political science graduate from the National University of Singapore, I previously spent four years on the health beat. There, I covered all things health including research, healthcare policy and social issues.
