I am a CSULB graduate currently working as a news writer for Islands, a travel website. I previously wrote about true crime for Grunge and celebrity and lifestyle topics for The List, as well as for Explore, another travel website. I was formerly the head copywriter at a small business and a staff writer for DIG MAG, a student-run publication at CSULB. I'm versed in a broad range of topics, and I can shoot, write, and edit pieces. At DIG, I wrote stories regarding the Long Beach community, hosted a pop culture podcast, and wrote a weekly advice column called "Dig Deep." I also have a background in photojournalism and broadcast journalism. I have prior experience as a file clerk at a law office, where I was the youngest employee and an assistant to the secretary.
