We launched our news website in November 2009. It is the one-stop shop for coverage of Maryland government and politics. We do original reporting on state government, focusing on accountability on the use of taxpayer dollars, and we do a daily State Roundup of news from over 50 website.I've been a writer and editor for three decades covering government, politics, business and education. In March 2006, I was part of the original staff helping to launch the new Baltimore Examiner daily newspaper, covering the governor, General Assembly and state politics.In the eight years prior to that, I was a copy editor on the national desk of The Washington Post handling news about the White House, Congress, Supreme Court, defense, intelligence, environment and science.
