Claim your profileI am deeply humbled to be the first full-time Science Writer for Labroots Inc (founded 2008) after initially being hired as a Freelance Space & Astronomy Writer just four months earlier. I am also currently a Freelance Science Writer for Universe Today and Astronomy Magazine. I am a USAF Veteran, Planetary Geoscientist, and Science Communicator with five-plus years of journalism experience and an additional 12 years of experience as a planetary science researcher. As a Planetary Geoscientist, I have published several first-author conference posters and sub-author publications primarily discussing Mars surface processes. As a Research Geologist for The Center for Planetary Science, I facilitated the writing and editing of several outgoing academic publications, increasing scholastic output and ensuring quality. My goal is to pursue a career in scientific research and publishing where I can use my skills to make meaningful contributions to science. I am a San Francisco Bay Area native and sports enthusiast with deep roots in South San Francisco. I am also a lifelong fan of the Giants, A's, Sharks, 49ers, Warriors, and Cal Bears, with the Giants forever being #1.
