I’m a journalist that never really planned to be a journalist. But now, I wouldn’t give it up for the world.Since starting my career as an online reporter in 2015 I have learnt so much on the job about what it really means to be in journalism in modern times. I’m now Senior Customer Editor for Reach’s brands in the South East - including KentLive, EssexLive, SurreyLive, BerkshireLive and more.I manage our social media channels, customer acquisition strategy and lead our engagement team as we try to make a meaningful relationship with our readers. As well as looking after our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram channels, I curate our newsletters, with a focus on telling important people-orientated stories and creating a real conversation with our customers.Highly commended feature journalist of the year at the Kent Press & Broadcast Awards 2020.
