I anchor FOX 2 News in the Morning on weekends starting at 6 a.m. I also report live during FOX 2's morning newscasts and put together the weekly Medical Minute segments.In 2023, my team and I won a Mid-America Emmy for our responsible and compelling coverage of the tragic school shooting at Central Visual and Performing Arts High School.Before joining KTVI/KPLR, I anchored the #1 weekday morning show at KFSM-TV in Northwest Arkansas, where I was promoted to that role in 2018 after four years of working there as a weekend morning anchor/reporter. I graduated from Columbia College Chicago, where I obtained a competitive internship at NBC Chicago during my sophomore year, learning from some of the best anchors, reporters, and producers in the business.Previously, I worked at KODE in Joplin, Missouri, and KTVO in Kirksville, Missouri/Ottumwa, Iowa.My #SimonSays franchise aims to motivate, uplift, and inspire people – in an authentic way.My free time is spent volunteering in the community. I am the three-year Blue Team Captain for the annual Budweiser Guns N’ Hoses event, which raises money for The BackStoppers, Inc., a non-profit that supports the families of fallen first-responders.I am beyond grateful to be home in St. Louis, working alongside the journalists who inspired me to pursue a career in journalism in the first place.
