Claim your profileI'm a Western Colorado-based news and feature journalist with five years of writing and two years of editing experience currently reporting for the Montrose Daily Press. With a small team running our digital and print news outlets, my beats are wide-ranging and I cover outdoors, entertainment, business, health, education and more in our mountain gateway community. I previously covered rural government with the Ouray County Plaindealer, in partnership with Report For America. Before that, I reported on tourism, real estate, business and Miami Beach government for Miami Today, where I also ran the company's Facebook, X and LinkedIn profiles. Some of my favorite work and editing experience came from my 3-year stint as a reporter, Health and Wellness and, finally, Executive editor with the University of Miami's Distraction Magazine, where I ultimately oversaw all copy in our print and digital magazine and managed a team of six editors and over 20 writers covering Miami lifestyle.
