Kerem Inal

Kerem Inal has recently graduated with an MA in Social Journalism from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism. Over the summer, he interned at Teyit.org, disinformation and fact-checking site based in Turkey, where he published analyses in both Turkish and English on suspicious content and disinformation. As a social media verifier on ProPublica's Electionland project, he scoured social media to identify and report on election issues and voter suppression during the 2018 midterm elections.  He is passionate about deeply engaging with online communities and dispelling disinformation. His undergraduate degree is in Anthropology.
