I am the evening News Anchor and Executive Producer at KVAL News in Eugene, OR. In addition to anchoring our 5 & 6 p.m. newscasts, I also report, film, edit, produce, and create digital content. I began my career with Sinclair Broadcast as the morning News Anchor for NBC16, a separate station in Eugene that the company provides services to. I spent two years in that position before moving into the evening Anchor position and dedicated another two years to growing as an Anchor. In Summer of 2022 I was presented the opportunity to join the KVAL team. My experience as a journalist began at Arizona State University where I learned to become a news reporter for Cronkite News, Arizona PBS, Channel 8. My first job out of college was in Rapid City, South Dakota working for the NBC affiliate, NewsCenter1. In the past decade I have grown great leadership skills and a strong work ethic. I am dedicated, self motivated, and proficient in public speaking. I would also describe myself as diligent, with a strong tenacious drive. Outside of work I have an amazing dog named Parker that loves to go on adventures with me throughout the beautiful state of Oregon.
