Claim your profileKen Olshansky is a television writer and producer with a broad range of news, comedy, and family programming credits. Currently a producer at the Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Ken has worked at CNN, Comedy Central and at media companies including Granada, Scholastic Entertainment and Sony Wonder-- overseeing a diverse slate of award winning programming, from Bill Maher’s "Politically Incorrect" to PBS pre-school series "Clifford’s Puppy Days" to "Amanpour," flagship program of CNN International. He received an outstanding writing Emmy for his work on PBS's "Word World". Ken lives in Brooklyn with his wife, Margot Owett, and their children Gideon and Clara.
