Kelly Foster

Ms Kelly Foster is Lecturer in Nursing at the University of Southern Queensland and Associate Editor Journal of Child Health Care. Her healthcare career has spanned over 25 years in the fields of paediatric critical care, emergency nursing and research management. Kelly is passionate about sharing her clinical nursing and research experience having helped broker collaborative multi-disciplinary research at an international level. Her expertise is valued internationally in the way of invited speaker conference presentations and quartile 1 research publications. She has held an executive position for an international research group, is an experienced ethics committee member, as well as holding memberships in the PREDICT Research Network and PATTERN Research Network. With a commitment to improving clinical care at the bedside through evidence based practice and research and embedding these principles in teaching at UniSQ Kelly hopes to inspire the next generation of nurses.
