At Bloomberg News, I cover automotive and transportation regulation issues emanating from Capitol Hill and federal agencies.Prior to coming to Bloomberg News, I covered auto regulation and lobbying and the Michigan Congressional delegation for The Detroit News in their Washington bureau. Additionally, I previously covered transportation policy in Congress for The Hill. Prior to that, I worked for the News Service of Florida, where I tracked the Florida state legislature with a focus on transportation and energy issues. Additionally, I worked in the Georgia Senate Press Office and served as a local government reporter for The Brunswick News, a daily newspaper published off the coast of southeast Georgia. I have also frequently contributed to Atlanta Tribune: The Magazine.I am native of Stone Mountain, Ga. and I am a proud alumnus of Howard University in Washington, D.C., where I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in print journalism with a minor in business administration in 2005. I also earned a Master of Arts degree in political science, with a specialization in American politics, from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Ga.I aspire to become a noted political analyst.
