I am currently Managing Editor at Newhall Publishing, working with a wide range of clients including Cunard, The Kennel Club and CarFest to produce high-quality publications to their specifications. My role involves managing the production process from start to finish, commissioning, sourcing and writing content and dealing with any issues that arise during the process. I previously edited Knit Now magazine, a successful craft title, and was responsible for sourcing and commissioning content from knitting patterns to features, making sure all content was relevant to the target audience and meeting advertiser requirements. At the same time, I was also Chief Sub-Editor for Practical Publishing, overseeing a team of sub-editors and making sure the group's numerous craft titles go to print on time, whilst identifying and addressing any production issues. Previously, I was a sub-editor at Reveal magazine, a weekly gossip magazine, working on the print and digital editions, as well as the website.I have completed MA Magazine Journalism at the University of Central Lancashire. I have also completed the NCTJ Journalism diploma. I have a BA(Hons) Film and Journalism & News Media from Roehampton University.
