Claim your profileI'm an award winning journalist at ESPN, specializing in feature storytelling at the intersection of sports and gender. My work has been featured across multiple ESPN platforms, including ESPN.com, SportsCenter, Outside the Lines, and the ESPN Daily podcast. My first book, Fair Play: How Sports Shape the Gender Debates was published in September 2023 and explores the relationship between gender and sports, paying particular attention to transgender athletes. Fair Play received starred reviews from Booklist and Kirkus Review and was named a "Must-Read of 2023" by Time Magazine.I have profiled women’s sports superstars and rising stars alike, from Maya Moore to Paige Bueckers to Azzi Fudd to Amanda Nunes. In addition to athlete profiles, I have earned three GLAAD award nominations for my extensive coverage of legislation and policy affecting transgender athletes, and executive produced the 30 for 30 short 'Mack Wrestles.'When not shouting at my TV about women's sports, I've been known to argue about the redeeming qualities of "Bring It On" (the first one), and play copious amounts of video games.
