Claim your profileKathleen Parker is the most widely syndicated columnist in the U.S. She was the 2010 recipient of the Pulitzer Prize for Distinguished Commentary and the 2019 recipient of the Ernie Pyle Lifetime Achievement Award. In 1992, she was the first woman to win the H.L. Mencken Writing Award. A 2019 inductee into the South Carolina Academy of Authors, she is the author of "Save the Males," (Random House 2008). A popular speaker on politics and culture, she's a frequent guest on news shows and was co-anchor of CNN's "Parker Spitzer." Prior to becoming syndicated, Parker worked in crisis management as head of the PR firm, Parker Cleveland, Inc. She was also president and founder of a non-profit organization created to find missing adults. She has taught college-level courses in writing and Spanish and created a business-writing course for the Buckley School of Public Speaking, where she is writer-in-residence.
