Currently lead the global data journalism and intelligence unit for Campaign, working with editors in Asia, Canada, the UK and the US to produce thoughtful analysis on the industry for premium subscribers. Previously responsible for Management Today’s editorial output, including a print magazine, website and daily bulletins, as well as advising on its portfolio of awards and events. Also spent seven years in charge of long-form content for Campaign - the “bible” of the advertising industry. Held the same role at the fast-paced current affairs magazine PRWeek, reporting on the role of PR in the major news stories of the day. In my first 12 months as editor of Management Today, I was named Editor of the Year (B2B) at the prestigious British Society of Magazine Editors (BSME) Awards. We also won Cover of the Year (B2B) and were shortlisted for a Press Gazette Future of Media Award in 2022. I won PPA’s Business Writer of the Year in 2016 and 2017 and was shortlisted for PPA’s Writer of the Year in 2019 (for six month’s work) and in 2022. I was a judge for Timewise's Part Time PowerList in 2022. Media appearances include BBC Radio 4’s Today programme, BBC local radio stations, Sky News and The Guardian. I also write for other titles on a freelance basis.
