Claim your profileI'm a creative, reliable reporter who loves telling stories about people and policy. I currently cover the environment for my hometown NPR station, St. Louis Public Radio. I also spent two years covering education at STLPR. In the summer of 2021 I studied data journalism in Columbia University's Lede Program. Until May 2021, I was a producer at PBS NewsHour, where I produced, shot and wrote field reports, newsmaker interviews and explainers. I won a Peabody award and was nominated for a national Emmy for my work as a producer on our coverage of the January 6 attack of the U.S. Capitol. Before joining the team at NewsHour, I was a digital video and documentary producer with Newsy, where I made long-form documentary reports. At Newsy, I won a 2019 National Murrow Award in breaking news for producing our documentary on the national teacher strike movement, Walkout. I've also been a finalist for a 2018 Eppy Award, a finalist for a 2019 Scripps Howard Award and a 3rd place winner for a 2018 SEJ Award.
