At IndiaSpend, I oversee and collaborate with research analysts on story ideation, contacting experts and influencers for opinions, copy writing, and subsequently, editing copy with adherence to internal quality and style parameters.Most recently, I was part of a team that won the 2019 Data Journalism Award given by the Global Editors Network.I am also responsible for quality and accuracy of stories, and manage the publishing desk. I am adept at data visualisation tools which simplify story-telling and reach out to a larger audience.In addition, I had managed an independent network of low-cost air quality monitoring devices, and have collaborated with major media houses for analyses and dissemination of data.I also collaborate with a host of writers, activists, journalists, publications, freelancers and influencers to generate/obtain/re-publish content.Earlier, I was an operations and resource professional with experience in resource planning and mobilisation for large-scale construction projects across India, including commercial and residential buildings, cement factories, airports and metro rail projects. I have been an editor of various school- and college-level magazines and newsletters.
