I am a recent graduate passionate about political journalism and digital storytelling. As a digital-focused journalist and communicator, I constantly think about how my local community, and all the local communities just like it, are impacted by larger national trends. I've gained experience putting these values to work at WCVB-TV Boston, Voice of America, The Brookings Institution and more great organizations. My love for political reporting was further enforced when I travelled to Manchester, New Hampshire with the American University presidential primaries class to report on the first-in-the-nation primary in February 2020. While there I interviewed voters, candidates and campaign surrogates about the state of the election. Moving forward in my career, I'm excited to continue amplifying important stories through innovative storytelling.
