I am an Indian-American journalist living in India. I am currently working with the Washington Post's South Asia bureau as a reporter in Delhi.I was most recently a Fulbright research fellow looking at types of tech and digital work in India's small towns.I've previously worked with Scroll.in, the Indian Express, Radiolab, Wall Street Journal, CNN, the Boston Globe, the Earth Journalism Network, and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. My words have also appeared in Bloomberg Businessweek and Quartz. ​I've completed my Master's from London's School of Oriental and African Studies in media and technology.Awards include Pulitzer Prize finalist, Mumbai Press Club's RedInk award, the Society of Publishers in Asia, and the South Asian Journalists Association. I was a mentor for young Asian American journalists with the Asian American Journalists Association.
