I am both self-motivated and a team player.I am highly motivated to complete tasks and to find creative solutions to any issues that arise.To keep my technical skills up to date and relevant, I have undertaken training in Wordpress and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) that underpin our organisation’s news and content website.I have extensive experience working in communications in the private business, university, and public service sectors, as well as a strong work ethic and positive attitude.On weekends, I volunteer at Lifeline Canberra’s bookshop (and triannual bookfairs), where I work to direction as part of a team, on checkout, displays, restocking shelves, and customer enquiries. I enjoy positive interactions with the managers, other volunteers, and throngs of customers, which is further enhancing my interpersonal skills.I also volunteer with Mentor Walks Canberra, which supports women in their careers through a monthly walk in the outdoors combined with knowledge exchange. In my spare time I enjoy bushwalking, reading (especially Australian literature), and attending live arts and entertainment events around town.
