As a highly creative storyteller and content strategist, I'm an expert in guiding brands—especially those in the health, wellness, lifestyle and parenting spaces—to grow their platform, engage their audience, innovate in smart and surprising ways, and increase revenue. I am a passionate, driven, and collaborative editor, writer, and content strategist, and have been a leading voice in the health and parenting space for the last decade. I have led the health content strategy for some of the nation's largest women's brands. Currently, I'm a features editor at New York Magazine, where I oversee ambitious features and columns that touch on health and parenting, both online and in print. Before that, I served as Editor in Chief of Parents, the largest parenting publication in America, overseeing the brand through the pandemic and through the publication of its final print issue. In my first year in the role, I led the brand to two National Magazine Award nominations. I am known for my sturdy and empathic management style; for creating partnerships and tentpole programs that drive revenue and audience growth; and for crafting best-in-class, sticky content on any platform, whether digital, print, social or audio. I am particularly passionate about harnessing the power of content to create something even greater—an event, a campaign, or a movement. I am an expert in pioneering editorial initiatives and developing content strategies; hiring and managing creative teams for in-person, hybrid or remote environments; and working collaboratively with key stakeholders to maximize opportunities and revenue. An experienced public speaker, spokesperson, and panel moderator, I have appeared regularly on national television, radio, and podcasts, including segments on Good Morning America and Today on NBC. As an editorial veteran with a knack for marketing strategy, I have also presented trends, insights and data to dozens of corporations. Prior to joining Parents, I developed health content and features at a number of major print and digital outlets, including Health, Real Simple, Good Housekeeping, and Time Out New York Kids. I have helped nurture the careers of countless writers, journalists, and editors, and written and edited health stories that have changed the lives of millions of Americans. A mother of two boys, I reside in New York City.
