I harness words to elevate marginalized voices, bring accountability to those in power, expose problematic systems, and connect readers to the deeper, human side of an issue.My award-winning investigative articles produced tangible change, including exposing an assisted living facility that housed elderly and disabled residents for stealing their stimulus checks and forcing residents to live in deplorable conditions. My story led to a state investigation and the facility being shut down last year.
