Hello there, my name is Josh Kristianto. I'm a hard-hitting, highly-motivated, highly-capable MMJ and broadcast journalist with nearly a decade of television news experience. I've covered five different TV markets in my career, with Phoenix, AZ, as my newest community. I am indispensable for newsrooms in need of an MMJ who can get things done on tough staffing days, with equal quality as a two-person reporting team. I have covered a wide-range of news stories, including mass shootings, wildfires, weather impacts, local and state issues, legislative and military concerns, investigative and in-depth packages, religious trends and much, much more. I've developed a range of skills through this all this coverage and a passion to get to the bottom of things for the sake of our audience. Not only do I believe in the First Amendment and Freedom of the Press, I choose to defend it. As an officer in the United States Navy Reserve, I am tasked with providing strategic communications support to the fleet in defense of the nation's interests at home and abroad. Preserving the rights we enjoy as Americans, and especially as journalists, is the raison d'être of my service in the Navy and in the armed forces. It has also given me immense leadership and mentoring experience, pushed me beyond my limits physically and mentally and given me new skills that I'll utilize in my full-time work and life overall.
