With over 5 years in journalism, both collegiately and professionally, I have a passion for learning, telling, and inspiring the stories of today and tomorrow through news reporting. I am a Kentucky Press Association award winner in writing and photography at the state -- both collegiate and professional levels.My reporting portfolio spans business profiles, circuit court trial proceedings, non-profits and community organizations, community happenings, governmental decisions and more. I have worked to increase diversity in reporting and sourcing.While in undergrad, I was a student leader with high-level positions among student organizations and offices, including Admissions, Diversity and Inclusion, and Student Engagement.
