Particular interests in tech, social media, health, disinformation, crime, welfare, housing and homelessness, refugee issues, and social affairs. I've previously worked for The New Daily (political editor), Network 10 (senior journalist, 10 daily), HuffPost (editor and political editor), the Illawarra Mercury, and the Inter Press Service at the United Nations in New York City.I've appeared regularly as a news guest on Radio National, ABC news radio stations, ABC 24 TV, Sky News, The Project, LBC Radio, 2SER, and podcasts. Career highlights include a reporting trip to Antarctica in 2016, travelling and covering the 2019 and 2022 federal election campaigns, interviewing 3 prime ministers, and meeting The Wiggles. I have a Bachelor of Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts (Politics major, International Studies minor) double degree from the University of Wollongong, both of which I graduated with distinction. This included a year abroad on university exchange at California State University, Long Beach.
