My career began in Elmira, NY as Chief Meteorologist at WETM-TV. From there, I moved on to Rochester, NY as AM/Noon Meteorologist at WROC-TV. I was then the Noon & 5 PM Meteorologist at WWL-TV in New Orleans, LA. I most recently was Chief Meteorologist at WBFF-TV, the FOX affiliate in Baltimore, MD. I currently hold the position of Morning Meteorologist for WUSA9-TV, the CBS Affiliate in Washington, DC, where I can be seen weekday mornings on our morning program, Get Up DC. I have been designated an American Meteorological Society (AMS) Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM), an upgrade from the AMS Seal of Approval, which I also hold. In addition, I have acquired the Seal of Approval from the National Weather Association. I am also a Full Member of the AMS and NWA. I earned my B.S. in Meteorology from the Penn State Main Campus. I am also Emmy-nominated and a four-time AP Best Meteorologist winner. Specialties: Severe weather including tropical storms/hurricanes, thunderstorms, and winter storms.
