Claim your profileI am a Colorado native, photographer, videographer and adventure sport lover who enjoys creating and sharing moments from the outside lifestyle. My first interest in photography came in the 4th grade when I saw Steve McCurry's "Afghan Girl" photo on the cover of the June 1985 National Geographic. Something about that portrait consumed me. I have been chasing and creating photo projects, portraits and now videos ever since that photo first crossed my path.With the explosion of social media and exponential amounts of photos we see daily, it is important to me to maintain a professional level of skill when capturing moments through my DSLR or camcorder. Whenever I sense a bump in the road while shooting I remember the National Geographic photo. It reminds me of what I am trying to do with my own photos; touch the lives of whom see them and express the emotions of those in them.
