Claim your profileAs an investigative editor, I work to help reporters do deep, impactful work that combines data analysis and narrative writing to hold powerful people and institutions accountable. I'm a collaborative editor and team leader, organized project manager, and compassionate colleague. Before joining Injustice Watch, I was a senior editor at Pacific Standard (RIP), where I was working to help build the magazine's data-driven investigative reporting team. Previously, I worked at the Chicago Reporter, where I used data to report on criminal justice and policing. And before that I was a database reporter at the Chronicle of Higher Education, where I maintained and analyzed a collection of large databases for investigative stories on people, places and money in higher education.I value exhaustive reporting, purposeful writing, and a commitment to tell stories with and for the communities most impacted by inequity — not about them — above all else.
