Claim your profileI have been a journalist since 1975, currently as a feature writer at The Denver Post, which I joined in 2000. Previously I was a sportswriter at the Rocky Mountain News in Denver (1981-2000), the Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel (1979-1981), the Dallas Times Herald (1978-79) and the St. Petersburg Evening Independent (1975-79) . During my sports writing career I covered 12 Olympic Games, traveled to more than a dozen foreign countries and covered an expedition to Mount Everest in 1985.
