Claim your profileI've spent my career understanding the complexity and technology of modern farming and can write and speak about it with authority. As a Senior Editor at Glacier FarmMedia, I work across the company to help set strategies that connect with farmers and manage content innovation projects. Specifically, I'm responsible for content at Farmtario and for livestock coverage and agriculture technology coverage and products across the company. I also work to help build Glacier FarmMedia in the Ontario market. I was previously the founding editor of Farmtario, a new source of agriculture information for Ontario, one of the most productive and diverse farming areas in North America. Farmtario is online daily, and also publishes a farm newspaper every two weeks. Before Glacier FarmMedia, I worked for 31st Line Strategic Communications. I spent much of my time at 31st Line Strategic Communications working in public relations and media relations in agriculture, helping organizations, companies and farmers tell their stories. I worked across media: in print, social media, digital and video. I made sure that every tactic was driven from strong objectives and unique and effective strategies. I've helped agriculture companies tell the stories of their new agriculture technology products as they've launched them across North America. I've helped national farm organizations and governments improve the way they speak to farmers. I also worked extensively with 31st Line's Brand Discovery process. Previous to 31st Line, I was an agricultural journalist and editor, leading diverse teams of contributors in various business arrangements to create eastern Canada's largest group of publications for farmers at Ontario Farmer Publications. I also managed the content for a publication in Western Canada. I've taken struggling publications, reconnected them with their readership and led them to improved financial position.
