I’m an independent journalist who’s been investigating companies and spinning interviews, reports, data, facts, figures, and other sources of information into salient copy for over a decade. I left full-time employment at Bloomberg in 2017 to go freelance and produce stories for specialist business intelligence outlets and clients who needed high-quality reporting for their company blogs or publications. In 2020 I rejoined a newsroom at Debtwire to cover Germany, Austrian, Swiss and Nordic leveraged buyouts. Since mid-2024 I've moved away from looking at performing credits to covering distressed & restructuring situations across Europe. I continue to plot my course as an author and have written two books on the craft of journalism with plans to return, at some point, to writing another non-fiction title.
