Claim your profileWhat’s your story? What makes you tick? Helping you tell your story – your achievements, your brand, your family, your business – that’s what makes me tick. I published my first family newsletter at the age of 8, resulting in my lifelong passion to give a voice to your story and to as large an audience as possible. I’ve been living that dream professionally ever since I went to work for my small town’s weekly newspaper – when I was a junior in high school: * Pac Man and Space Invaders were babies; * Goldendoodles weren’t yet a designer dog breed; * And the internet was just a crazy science fiction dream. But I’m not a dinosaur. I have evolved along with the world of communication, from an ancient Royal typewriter with no characters on the keys, to Aldus PageMaker 1.0 and desktop publishing and the Adobe Creative Suite; from photo darkroom chemicals to seamless Smartphone photos; and from landlines and pagers to the Cloud of virtual, blink-of-an-eye, globally-connected communication. Here’s that evolution a nutshell: * 25,000 by-lined newspaper articles; * Hundreds of blog posts, white papers, podcasts, and marketing flyers; * Managing multiple social media channels (including my Goldendoodle’s); * Countless email workflows that generate sweet sales leads; * And a unique ability to give new life and energy to old content.Whether it’s a well-crafted news article, ebook, or a white paper that presents complex facts or solutions – without creating eye-glaze for readers – the focus is the same: Connecting with people (clients) to tell a story and for readers to learn something (and sometimes be entertained).Yes, you want the ABC’s of SEO. I’ve got that. But remember that all the technology doesn’t generate stories with color and personality that connects with people, teaching and leading to action. You still need the ABCs of the ABCs: how to communicate and connect with people. I’ve got that, too. Let’s make a connection and take on the next challenge together.
