I am an award-winning journalist at New York Public Radio, with over a decade of experience reporting, producing and editing audio, and two decades in journalism. I am currently WNYC's education reporter, where I seek to lift up the voices of students, parents and educators, and keep New York City communities informed of breaking news that affects their daily lives. I have also spent years covering politics, policy, business, arts and the environment. I am especially passionate about giving people a chance to tell their own stories, in their own voices, to a broader audience.
