I’m focused on bringing a sharp editorial eye, swift decision-making skills, and experience managing teams to a range of board and panel roles, which reflect my interest in social justice, equality of opportunity, and diversity. I enjoyed a long and successful career in journalism, both on-air and behind the camera, for a number of leading international news organisations, covering a broad range of stories across the world, as well as management roles in newsrooms. The ability to remain calm under pressure has stood me in good stead during my years as a magistrate and more recent appointment to the Judicial Appointments Commission interviewing panel.
