Prior to my current role as editor in chief of Nfocus, I founded Kurtz Hospitality Marketing, a full service marketing and consulting firm for the hospitality industry. I served thirteen years as Director of Sales & Marketing for the Forbes Five Star rated Hermitage Hotel in Nashville, TN and the Forbes Five Star rated Keswick Hall and Golf Club in Charlottesville, VA. There my team and I oversaw all room revenue, sales development, marketing and public relations for both properties and their outlets - including two star-rated restaurants, a golf course, club house and a 250-acre beef and vegetable farm. I have also worked across Loews Hotels & Resorts in the south and various attractions including the historic Belle Meade Historic Site.
