Claim your profileJamie Worsley is a South Georgia peach, mom, and journalist at heart. She graduated from Pataula Charter Academy in Edison in 2017 as the valedictorian of her class. She then attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College on a full scholarship to pursue a writing and communication degree. Four days after graduation, she began working as the 5 p.m. producer for WALB News 10. But her dream had always been to transition to an on-air position. She went on to become the Albany/Dougherty County reporter and would eventually anchor the 4:30 p.m. Breakdown segment, 12:30 and 7 p.m. Newscasts, and Today in Georgia. Currently, she anchors evening newscasts while also working on investigative projects and mentoring younger journalists. She is also pursuing her master's degree at Middle Georgia State University.
