After graduating from the University of New Hampshire, she jumped right into her first TV job in Utica, NY. Starting as a multimedia journalist Jamie covered a range of stories — from Leon Etienne’s magic residency in Old Forge to Fourth of July homicides, the Westernville tornado, the Cuomo impeachment investigation, and everything in between – before taking on the role as evening anchor and producer. At UNH she earned a degree in journalism and communication and was a member of the Society of Professional Journalists. Jamie was awarded the Theodore ‘Tad’ Ackman Jr. and Robin D. Gorsky Endowed Scholarship for excellence in journalism and was named the 2021 distinguished scholar in the department of communication.
