I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of San Francisco with a liberal arts degree in media studies, as well as a minor in journalism. In 2021, I was the recipient of the "Dick Blake Award for Excellence in Student Journalism from the University of San Francisco's Media Studies Department. The award is given to a graduating senior in recognition of their outstanding accomplishments as a student journalist. I currently work at the San Francisco Examiner, covering beats ranging from public transportation and the environment to arts and culture. The Examiner is one of the oldest newspapers in California and I am grateful to be carving a new path forward for such an iconic and historic brand!
