Claim your profileI am a experienced journalist and editor. I have spent the last decade at The Times where I am currently assistant business editor, a role which includes leading in-depth coverage of private companies, investigative journalism holding businesses to account and and helping to organise the newspaper’s weekend business coverage. My reporting often involves looking into complex topics and ideas — from contentious legal cases to AI, quantum computing or financial regulation and banking scandals — and making them accesssible and interesting for a general audience.I also help lead the title's coverage of events including the budget and the annual Times CEO Summit event, which brings together the leaders of some of the UK’s largest companies with top politicians. I previously worked as the paper’s enterprise editor, leading coverage of entrepreneurs, technology start-ups, venture capital and private companies. Other experiences include running the Daily and Sunday Telegraph’s Business Club and editing a magazine for entrepreneurs with an ABC circulation of 40,000. I have extensive experience as an event moderator and programmer, hosting panel discussions and interviews at notable events such as the AI and The Future of Work Summit (2024) and the 'Think Ahead' series at London Business School (2023). Additionally, I've made appearances on BBC News, BBC Radio, Times Radio, and LBC, and have hosted two seasons of The Entrepreneurs Chat podcast. I have also hosted panel conversations and interviews for The Times and third parties.
